AutoDock AI Private Limited ("AutoDock", "we", "us") builds automated parking towers with EV charging. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use autodockai.com, fill in one of our forms, or use an AutoDock tower or service. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation.
Who we are
AutoDock AI Private Limited is a company registered in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. For the purposes of the DPDP Act we are the Data Fiduciary, and under the GDPR the controller, for the personal data described here.
You can reach us about anything in this policy at contact@autodockai.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Early access sign-ups: your name, email, city, EV model, the charging problems you face, whether you would reserve a bay, and any message you add.
- Partner enquiries: your first and last name, work email and the areas you are interested in.
- Emails and calls: whatever you choose to share when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, time on page, referring site, and broad device, browser and location details (city or country level), gathered through Google Analytics.
- Technical logs: IP address, user agent and request times, kept by our hosting provider to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
When you use a tower
As towers come into service, using one may involve your vehicle registration number, FASTag or UPI identifiers, booking and charging session records (times, bay, energy drawn) and payment status. Card and UPI payments are handled by regulated payment providers; we do not store full card numbers. We will give you a specific notice at the point of use before any of this is collected.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and tell you when access opens in your city.
- To plan where towers go, using aggregated demand from sign-ups.
- To run bookings, charging sessions and billing once towers are live.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To keep the site and our systems secure and to prevent fraud.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
Why we are allowed to
Under the DPDP Act we process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or accept analytics, or for legitimate uses the Act permits, such as a service you have voluntarily asked for or compliance with law.
If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR bases we rely on are consent, taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in running and securing the site (balanced against your rights), and legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers who process it on our instructions: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Formspree (form delivery), Google (analytics and email), and payment providers once towers are live.
- Site and fleet partners, only where needed to deliver a service you have booked at their location.
- Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of people and property.
- A successor business, if AutoDock is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, under the same protections as this policy.
International transfers
Some of our providers store data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves the country we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards and transfer only as permitted under the DPDP Act and, for EU and UK visitors, under standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism.
How long we keep it
- Sign-ups and enquiries: until you ask us to delete them, or 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Analytics data: 14 months, the retention set in Google Analytics.
- Technical logs: a short rolling window, typically no more than 30 days.
- Booking, charging and billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually 8 years.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, access to personal data is limited to people who need it, and our providers maintain recognised security certifications. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, where we no longer need it or you withdraw consent;
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated.
EU and UK residents also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and may complain to their local supervisory authority.
Email contact@autodockai.com to use any of these rights. We will reply within 30 days. Every marketing email also carries a link to unsubscribe.
Children
Our site and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you directly before it takes effect.
Contact and grievances
Questions, requests and complaints go to our Grievance Officer at contact@autodockai.com, or by post to AutoDock AI Private Limited, Kozhikode, Kerala, India. We aim to resolve grievances within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
