AutoDock · autonomous depot

Meet the autonomous depot.

Robotaxis drive themselves, but their depots still need people. AutoDock runs the whole depot itself: inspection, cleaning, service, robotic charging and dispatch, with zero humans in the loop.

The autonomous depot

Robotaxis drive themselves. Now their depots run themselves too.

The systems behind it

Built for full-scale autonomous mobility.

Each part of the depot is an AutoDock system you can deploy on its own, or run together under Laan AI.

A robotaxi on a pallet inside an AutoDock rotary parking tower, charging between rides.

Rotary parking system

Station the fleet where land costs the most.

A robotaxi earns nothing while it waits. The rotary tower keeps idle vehicles off the street and charging, stacked on the ground of about two parking spaces, in the parts of a city where land is too expensive to park on flat.

  • 8 to 22 cars on the footprint of about two spaces
  • A 21 kW AC charger in every bay
  • Any bay back at ground level in under 90 seconds

Gen 3 DC charging tower · Laan AI

Twenty AVs fast-charged on a small plot.

The Gen 3 tower stacks DC fast charging vertically. A robot arm on every pallet opens the charge cap, plugs in, and unplugs when the car is done. No hands, any model. Laan AI decides which car gets how much power, and when.

  • Robotic plug-in and unplug on every pallet
  • 1,440 kW shared across 20 vehicles, allocated by AI
  • Cars charge up in the stack, so the entry is free for the next arrival

Fleet integration

Any fleet plugs in within a week.

Any vehicle that can drive itself can dock itself. Fleets connect to AutoDock directly, with no hardware to fit and no change to how they dispatch.

  • REST API and MCP, with direct vehicle-to-depot communication
  • Live in under a week
  • Full control over dispatch, zero lock-in

Laan AI · vehicle to depot

Every AV knows which tower to go to.

Autonomous vehicles do not call a human dispatcher. The car’s onboard AI talks to Laan, which routes it to the tower that will have a free, charged bay when it arrives.

  • Laan scores the bays, quotes a price and holds a slot in under two seconds
  • Over MCP or REST: no app, no driver, no wait
  • Paid machine to machine over x402

Neighbourhood hubs

Small hubs across the city, on 35 to 70 m².

Most of the time an AV or EV only needs somewhere to wait and a charge, not a depot. AutoDock hubs fit on 35 to 70 m² of city land, so they can sit in every neighbourhood: vehicles park and charge close to where the next ride starts, and only go back to the depot for major service.

  • A full hub on 35 to 70 m² of ground
  • Idle AVs and EVs park and charge nearby, without driving back to the depot
  • The depot is kept for inspection and major service

Safety agent · fire suppression

Fire suppression built into every pallet.

Every vehicle-carrying pallet has its own fire suppression system. It releases nano dry-powder under inert-gas pressure the moment a fire starts. Above it, Laan’s Safety Agent enforces hard safety limits that no other agent can override.

  • Fire suppression on each pallet, acting at the first sign of a fire
  • Thermal runaway detection and emergency stop circuits
  • Anti-fall braking that locks the moment the drive stalls
